08 Dec 2019 Spiritual concert for violin and organ in the Bürgersaalkirche in Munich.
On the occasion of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, Martin Eidenschink on violin and Lucio Mosè Benaglia on the organ propose a concert for violin and organ with an undoubtedly interesting program, including both original pieces for violin such as two baroque sonatas by Corelli and Vivaldi and Massenets’ Meditation, but also transcriptions for violin (andante from the Donizetti’s concertino for clarinet, the adagio from Marcello’s concerto for Oboe or Arioso from Bach’s concerto for harpsichord) and several Ave Maria by different authors more or less known: Gounod, Pizzi (probably in German premiere), Luzzi, Mascagni, Durante. Also scheduled in Program is the Ave Maria Op.18 Nr. 1 by Lucio Mosè Benaglia.
