Description: Composition inspired by F.J.Haydn’s “Kaiserquartett” using as melody one of the most famous Christmas songs of the German tradition. The melody, however, derives from a Sicilian folk song which in Italy is known as a Marian song entitled “O Santissima”. The composition uses styles according to the classical tradition, having as reference the great author of Viennese classicism.
