Description: The Bavarian anthem, written by Max Kunz in 1861, became the official anthem of the Bavarian state after the second world war. Since 2015 it has been part of the official repertoire of the Archdiocese of Munich.

Since 2012, my elaboration has become a must every year in the Maximilianskirche in Munich on the occasion of the patron saint’s day and is performed with a variable staff depending on the mass with orchestra that is performed for the occasion. The melody has also been performed several times in a large symphony orchestra.
