On Sunday, 28 March 2021, in the Bürgersaalkirche in Munich, during the Palm Sunday liturgy of the Italian Catholic community, Gaetano Donizetti’s “Ingemisco” (from the Requiem written for Bellini’s death) will be performed in a transcription by Lucio Mosè Benaglia for tenor, violin obbligato and organ. The piece will be performed by tenor Giuseppe Del Duca, violinist Martin Eidenschink and the author of the transcription on the organ.
